Disaster
Yesterday as I was looking for things to record for the blog, I was digging through my storage room and found a beautiful NOS (New Old Stock) set of Gene Autry 78's from the late 1930's, while carrying them to the cleaning area I dropped and shattered them, it just made me absolutely sick to lose such beautiful records. I'll buy replacements when I can but I know they won't be in such great condition.

ReplyDeleteI bet the internet archive has them. They have tons and tons of 78s. High resolution raw transfers freely downloadable in FLAC and suitable for restoration by whichever method you use. www.archive.org
