Selling Stuff I Post

The blog Country Music Archives is taking stuff from this blog and selling it on their site at http://kipepeocountry.blogspot.com/ i don't mind someone sharing what i post but to sell it is just being a greedy selfish person, i ask you to go to their site and send them a message about your feelings on this subject, if i have to i will close this blog or make it visible by invite only.

I didn't know that site and like you I don't appreciate the way the site owner uses free downloading from others.
You're right to denounce that practice.

  4. This is outrageous, some people have no conscience, to make a profit from other peoples work and generosity in providing us all with free music is disgusting. I for one would never buy from there, I can understand how you feel and am very sorry that this is happening.

  5. This is a very criminal way of posting things. I hope nobody buys anything from them.

    1. I'm not sure, i just ask that everyone spread the word, if someone takes something from here and shares it on their site it's fine as long as they don't charge for it because it's all about the music for me.

  7. Yes, Bim Bam Records in the UK do the same thing. But there's nobody to complain to, all bloggers post music that is owned by somebody else. But it's a nasty thing to do. Amazon mp3 downloads are full of commercial albums that somebody's slapped a fake logo on the cover & invented a company name & offer them for sale at normal mp3 DL price!! Now that is a worse rip-off.

Thanx for all the great stuff you've shared with us & I hope that A-hole who's been trying to sell your posts gets what he's got coming to him.

I agree with all those who have commented and I too would ask that you send me an invite should you go private. Like you, for me it's all about the music and it would be a shame if true fans couldn't benefit from your generosity in sharing.I would not have had so much pleasure if your music was not available and so much that I never knew about.
    Thank you so much
    Alan

  10. Jud greeting!
It is a shame that a site appropriates the work of another to make money. This is theft !
You have proposed original compilations on the theme of prisons or war, this is a fine job!
I will have great difficulty in not being able to consult your site (unless I am invited, of course!)
Thanks in any case for all you have done so far ...

  11. I've never come across the site that is stealing your uploads but I agree totally with your comments.
On the plus side the comments supporting you show how much your efforts are appreciated by country music fans.

I really enjoy listening to your war and prison etc compilations.

Keep up the good work and best wishes
